camping at granite flats

We spent a few days camping at Granite Flats in June with the Harris family. Some highlights were:

  • riding strider bikes around the campground loop

  • making lots of s’mores with Tyler, Morgan, and Sol

  • building train tracks and doing crafts with Grandma

  • going hiking

  • playing in Silver Lake and Tibble Fork Reservoir

  • spotting chipmunks (and a mouse in the car engine bay)

  • recounting my bear encounter in Yosemite

  • attempting foil dinners (and having to finish cooking on the grill)

  • Grandpa’s bedtime stories about the adventures of Sebastian the paper towel and David the lollipop (video at the end)
