Theo celebrated his 4th birthday this May! He requested a “sea” themed birthday. We settled on the aquarium as the perfect venue. He is a little party planner and helped decide every detail. Weeks before the party, he chose what outfit he would wear, what kind of food we would eat, the color of the tableware, what party favors to hand out, and which friends to invite.

After much anticipation, the day finally arrived! In the morning, we baked and decorated his chocolate cake. Then we headed to the aquarium. He was looking forward to walking through the shark tunnel and seeing jellyfish.

After we explored the exhibits, we went up to the party room with his friends and cousins to eat pizza, sing happy birthday, eat cake, open presents, play on the playground, and hand out party favors (bags of Swedish fish & gummy sharks, and sunglasses). Everything went exactly as planned and he loved all his presents (even the potatoes from his cousins, his favorite food). He felt so loved and had the time of his life!
